Powered by Grafix Web Works © 2012 - Saint Mary’s Catholic High School 2525 North Third Street - Phoenix, AZ  85004 - Phone: (602) 251-2500 calendar | parents | alumni | faculty Campus Visits Interested students are encouraged to attend one of two "8th Grade Days" to visit the campus and see firsthand what Saint Mary's has to offer.  In addition, parents are invited to attend "Open House" and "Information Nights" to learn more about the school and community.  Students are welcome to "shadow" a student during a school day to experience student life first hand.  Saint Mary's 8th Grade Days are a fun way to see the campus, interact with current students, and truly get a feel for the student life and school spirit at Saint Mary's.  Last year, nearly 600 eight graders from across the valley came to Saint Mary's, toured campus, met with student Ambassadors and heard from students about what it's really like to attend Saint Mary's.  If you are an eighth grader, you are invited to join us to see if you have what it takes to be a Knight!  8th Grade Day #1 Friday, September 30, 2011 9:30am - 1:30pm 8th Grade Day #2 Friday, November 4, 2011 9:30am - 1:30pm Open House: Open House is an opportunity for families who are beginning to make plans for high school to come to Saint Mary's to view our campus, meet teachers and interact with current students and parents.   Families of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are all welcome to attend.  During Open House, you will hear from the Principal, the Vice Principal about Admissions, students who share their St. Mary's experience, and tour the campus.   All of the teachers are present to discuss courses and academic standards.  Various coaches and athletes from the different sports, clubs and activities will also be available to answer questions so you can and see how you can get involved at Saint Mary's.  Open House  Sunday, October 2, 2011  (Noon - 3:00pm) Information Night: For those who were unable to attend the Open House, Saint Mary's will be open during the evening of November 9th for an Information Night.  All are welcome to attend.  Information Night Wednesday, November 9, 2011  (6:00 - 7:30pm) Tours: Available by appointment Please call the attendance secretary to make an appointment (602) 251-2500. Shadow Days: Shadow days are a fun way for eighth graders to spend a day with a Saint Mary's student, going to class and getting a real taste for high school life!  Our shadowing program is open to interested students grades 8 - 12, preferably on Fridays, which are half days.  Students should arrive no later than 7:45 am and report to the lobby of the Administration building to check in an be assigned to a host student.  Students should be picked up in the lobby at 1:00 pm.  Please bring $5 for snacks during break.  Appropriate attire is required.  Students should wear their school uniform (if attending a school that requires uniform) or should wear a collared shirt and khaki pants, skirts or dress shorts.  Shoes must be closed toed.  No jeans, t-shirts, short skirts or earrings for males.    Students should call the attendance secretary to make an appointment (602) 251-2500.
