Philosophy:Saint Mary's places Jesus Christ at the center of the educational process and acknowledges responsibility to help prepare students of varying levels to meet the spiritual, intellectual, and social challenges of life.Saint Mary's students strive to become a model of Christian love and service, promoting the values of honesty, compassion, decency and integrity in the classroom, on the school grounds, in the athletic arena, at school functions, at home and in the community.Six Traits of a Knight:Respect for tradition is an overarching theme at Saint Mary's. A long time tradition at Saint Mary's, the Six Traits of a Knight were first introduced to the community by the Franciscan Fathers who were key Administrators, teachers and spiritual guides to the students of Saint Mary's for many years. Earliest records of the "Six Traits of a Knight" date back to student handbooks from the 1960's. The six traits of a Knight include Reverence, Studiousness, Respect, Courtesy, Loyalty and Obedience.
